And now they're all in school!

Jack started preschool at the end of August and LOVES it. He loves his teacher, his friends, singing, painting and all the fun that comes from being 3 in preschool. His best buddy also goes to his preschool so that makes it all the more fun (even though they aren't in class together). My mom has been awesome since she picks Jack up every T/Th for us so here's a beautiful picture of Jack & Mimi. Also, Jack w/Ryan.

Labor Day Weekend

We spent Sunday at Crystal Cove and Monday at Newport. Got a great deal through our fave Priceline at the Newport Marriott and had an awesome weekend, definitely something I needed. The kids LOVED the beach of course and kept saying how "fancy" the hotel was. Really adorable. Even Jack got into the boogie boarding action and I can't help but feel blessed to have these 3 healthy & happy kiddos and a husband who loves us all so!

Jack...Just Jack

What can I saw about our sweet boy Jack other than he keeps us laughing, is the most affectionate 3 year old I know, and is a true light. He definitely goes to the beat of his own drum and here are some examples.

Mini-Me

Okay, so I think I posted a while back about Jack being a mini-Mike. I was just looking through some pictures and saw a picture of Brooke that if I didn't know any better would have thought it was me at her age. (Does that make sense?) Here it is...

Boogie Boarding Babes

We had a wonderful day at the beach, it really is becoming one of our favorite things to do. Mike taught the girls to boogie board and they're hooked! It reminded me of when I was a kid and would boogie board with my brother, and Erik & Laurie Franzen. SO fun! Many good times ahead for sure!

Idyllwild Camping

We just returned from a great weekend in Idyllwild. Believe it or not, Mike and I had never been there...not together, not separate, not ever. What a well-kept secret that place is! So close, so easy to get to and so wonderful! We had a great time hiking, watching the kids ride their bikes and just relaxing away from it all. The kids did awesome! Slept great, ate great, and had tons of fun! Time to recover...

Angels Baseball!

We've had some fun evenings out at the Big A already this season and are looking forward to many more! We've gone to 3 games with the kids (and one without!) We feel fortunate that we were at the game that Nick Adenhart (RIP) pitched and two others this week with big homeruns from the kids' favorite Tori Hunter. We had a blast tail-gating under the Big A (you can see the red of the inside of the A). It warms my heart when we get to share experiences like these with our kids. Going to Angel games was such a HUGE part of my childhood that it's very special for me to take them.

Day of the Child '09

Today was our second visit to Corona's Day of the Child and we had just as much fun this year as we did last! The kids loved riding the horses and ponies. They all fed the animals in the petting zoo (yuck!). I was impressed since in the past they would run out crying. They've really grown so much! Abby even hugged the Chick-Fil-A cow, if you knew Abby's usual response to this cow you would understand what a huge accomplishment this was! We look forward to next year's event and will be there for sure!

Adventure Guides Easter Party

We had a wonderful time at the Easter Party with Adventure Guides and our Garden Friends in particular. We spent the afternoon at Village Loop Park for a potluck, crafts, games and finally an Easter Egg Hunt. It was so fun watching the little ones race around collecting their eggs. Jack found a bunch in one spot and wasn't quite sure what to do so he just sat and opened one after the other. As you will see Jack has a red cast on his arm. He fractured his arm a little over a week ago. It's been pretty hard on him (and mommy & daddy) but he has such a great attitude!
