Kindergarten Baby

Is it possible? Our baby is in Kindergarten! Brooke started Kindergarten last week and LOVES it. She loves reading, doing crafts, singing songs and being with 19 other 5 year old friends. We didn't cry when we dropped her off as many had predicted but did marvel at the milestone we've reached. Seems like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital over a month early and now she's the tallest in her class and loving being a kindergarten student.

Lake Mead/Laughlin

We've just returned from a weekend at the river. We had so much fun! The kids were wonderful. We spent the day at Lake Mead and then went bumper bowling. They had fun watching the boats and skis from our river view room. Such fun!

Disney Days

One of our family's favorite things to do is DISNEYLAND! We have Annual Passes and love to get there when we can even if just for a couple of hours. Mike and I try to take the kids individually too. We always have a blast!

La Quinta

We recently did one of our "Priceline" getaways and went out to the desert for a couple of days. Our biggest concern driving out was whether we'd have a king size bed or two queens (really hoping for two queens.) When we arrived at the La Quinta Resort we were thrilled to find a one bedroom villa complete with full kitchen, sleeper sofa, two bathrooms and a washer/dryer! Yahoo! Mike immediately called Priceline and added another night to our visit. We enjoyed our "private pool", a movie out by the main pool, and a visit to the "zoo" aka The Living Desert. Mommy can't wait to go back!

Well, this is something I've wanted to start for our family for a while now so here goes. We have family all over the world and while I don't presume to think they want to know every bit of our daily lives, I do think an occasional update might be fun and here it is!
